Two new buildings added to Workman House Niseko, an accommodation facility for construction workers.

Niseko real estate News

Accommodation management and real estate company Red Horse Trust (Sapporo) will open two new Workman House lodging facilities for construction workers across Hokkaido by next summer in Takasago, increasing the number to three in the town. This is to respond to the active construction demand in the Niseko area, and the number of three buildings in one municipality is the highest in Hokkaido.

Niseko real estate company CEO’s perspective

The construction boom in Niseko continues unabated.

As long as there are mountains and forests, construction will never stop, including some of the world’s most luxurious hotels and villas that cost over 1.4 billion yen each. There are also few accommodation facilities for construction workers who support the site. Compared to the proportion of condominiums built for investment purposes, the number of accommodation facilities for workers is far less.

Our company also receives inquiries from major construction companies about whether there are any vacancies in their employee dormitories. We received a call from overseas asking to rent a building in Hirafu with four 2LDK units as a ten-teacher facility for 8 million yen from December to March. When the snow begins to melt, a construction boom begins, creating demand for lodging facilities.

In Niseko, there are investment opportunities with ultra-high yields that are different from rental properties if you make a little effort.
