Summer Niseko Enjoying the view Sky Bus starts its second year of operation

[Kutchan, Niseko] The open-roof sightseeing bus “Sky Bus Niseko”, which tours Kutchan-cho and Niseko-cho in the Shiribeshi area, started operating this season on the 15th, and tourists can enjoy the summer Niseko area from a seat nearly 4 meters high. Enjoyed the beautiful view of nature.

　This is the second year, and the Kutchan Tourism Association and the Niseko Resort Tourism Association will jointly operate the train until September 3rd. It makes up to 8 round trips a day between JR Kutchan Station and Michi-no-Eki Niseko View Plaza (34 km), and tours outdoor experience facilities and tourist ranches.

On the morning of the 15th, a departure ceremony for local officials was held in front of Kutchan Station, and Satoshi Yoshida, chairman of the Kutchan Tourist Association, said, “We want to unite the region and boost tourism in Niseko.” Unfortunately, it was raining, but tourists from eastern Hokkaido and Tokyo boarded the first buses one after another, and enjoyed the bus trip weaving through lush forests and potato fields in full bloom.

　Tickets are 1,500 yen for adults (junior high school students and older) and 750 yen for elementary school students. You can get on and off the bus three times during the period.
