[Kutchan] List Development, a real estate development company in Yokohama City, announced on the 30th that it plans to develop 20 villas on about 6.5 hectares in Hirafu district. The development area is one of the largest in the Hirafu area. With the end of measures to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, we will promote the sale of land for sale in anticipation of increased investment from wealthy overseas.
The development site is located on the north side of the intersection of the Dodo Rankoshi Niseko Kutchan Line and the Dodo Niseko Kogen Hirafu Line, about 2 kilometers east of Hirafuzaka in the center of the Hirafu district.
According to the plan, the villa area averages about 2,000 square meters per section. The company said that it “secured a spacious area for each section” with an awareness of selling to the wealthy and maintaining the forest. Construction work will begin by the end of the year and will be completed by the end of 2024. The sale price is undecided. Two sections of commercial land will also be developed, and it is assumed that restaurants and pensions will be built.
Roads connecting two locations on the Dodo Rankoshi Niseko Kutchan Line will also be developed. The supply of hot springs is under consideration. The company has developed development businesses in Japan and overseas, and this is the first time it has entered the Niseko area. With high expectations for the future as an international resort, there are plans to further develop the area in the future.
In the central part of the Hirafu district, where construction of hotels and other facilities has advanced, land for development is already limited.
Recently, there has been an increasing awareness of environmental considerations even when developing products.
This time, each section is about 600 tsubo, making it spacious. This is a place with good access to ski resorts, eating and drinking in the Hirafu area, and shopping in the city. In the future, it is thought that further development will proceed from this area to the Kutchan city area.
